Here's a rough outline of how to play Charge by Splendid. Hope this

The last 4 notes I've indicated replace the first four of the 'entry'
riff. The transition from the first part (the D chord with descending
bass line) to the second (G with descending bass line) is slightly
different from starting off the riff from scratch. I think the notes are
right. Sounds pretty good, anyway ;-) Listen to the recording for the
slight variations (like strumming the first D chord and the like)
Strange as it may seem, I think the bass note in the second measure is a
G#. Its a little dissonant, but it works. You can also play both notes
together.

strum, downstroke only, some palm mute, 8x per measure. Last measure is
2/4 time, half as long.

The Bass actually plays the E and the D, but if you don't have a Bass
playing, you can play them yourself. Open low E string and and and open
D sound nice.
